Before New Year I walked to the newest and currently most beautiful city amusement park. On a working evening there were not many people, so I managed to take some good photos.

I spent day shopping for new dress. I hate that kind of shopping, but it is unavoidable. Worse is that I had to go on my own - sister moved for a year for her job and I am not making mother go shopping at -30 and spending whole day walking. I did send them both photos of all dresses I thought were a maybe.

Weather have warmed up some, up to -10 during day, so Kostya and I took a chance to have a long walk in the park, that is said to hold main city's New Year tree this year, as well as a skating ring going along some alleys. I am two and a half into a new year.
By now we are already done with eating, called and texted all friends and family we were going to, not in mood to go out, but not ready to go to bed yet. Don't know if we'll stay to meet Moscow New Year, sometimes we do, sometimes don't.

All I can say, I am glad that it is over and now I can skip next year's party.
From my point of view, it was the usual: way too loud music, pasable food and entertainment, that is really fun only if you are drunk. I don't drink, so I danced a bit and took some photos, but mostly just sat at my table and waited it out.
